Around 700 sailors from 42 Nations are competing at the Skandia Sail For Gold Regatta , there were three races today with perfect sailing conditions. Ryan & Matt are currently first Irish boat posting results of 27th, 25th & 34th  respectively, giving them a position of 30th  overall for Day 1.

Racing tomorrow is scheduled for a late start some time after 12:25
