Palma, Mallorca

We are off to not so sunny Palma!! 

You know you have been sailing the 49er for a long time when it’s your 8th Princess Sophia regatta. We have had a great winter training in Vilamoura, getting many hours on the water and we continue to do so in the lead up to the 49th Princess Sophia Regatta, here in Mallorca.

Our goals for this year are to qualify the country at the world championships in Aarhus, Denmark. So many of our European regattas this year will be specific focuses, looking at starting, racing and communication. We have made big improvements over the winter so we will be excited to test this against the other teams.

We are really enjoying the time on the water, especially when each day you can learn and see the developments in our skills. Not only have we been working on the water, we have been putting in many hours at the gym. It’s important to keep the fitness levels up as we have a long season ahead.

We would once again like to thank all of our team for the continuous support. Without our sponsors, family and our support network this really would not be possible.

We hope you enjoy following us on our journey to Tokyo! #out2win
